Season points divided by games played. The same pattern names all the others: RPG for rebounds, APG assists, SPG steals, BPG blocks, MPG minutes and TPG turnovers.

What it leaves out
Per-game numbers move with minutes and with team tempo. Per-36-minutes or per-100-possessions versions compare far more fairly across teams.
