What does eFG% mean in basketball?
有效命中率Effective field goal percentage
Field goal percentage with the extra point a three is worth credited back, so volume shooters stop being punished by FG%. It is worth more than FG% every single time.

How it is worked out
(FGM + 0.5 × 3PM) ÷ FGA
Worked through
Four of ten with three of them threes: FG% says 40%, eFG% says (4 + 1.5) ÷ 10 = 55%. Same night, two conclusions.
Rough scale
Around 52% is solid. That is the FIBA and EuroLeague line; the NBA runs a little higher.
What it leaves out
It still ignores free throws, so anyone who scores by drawing fouls is undersold here. TS% is what picks that up.
