搶先鑽門Beat the doors

防守者判斷出路線，在兩名掩護人合攏之前搶先鑽過去，跟著射手一起出來。The defender reads it early and squeezes through before the two screeners close, coming out with the shooter.

進攻怎麼打：What beats it: 兩名掩護人合攏之後不要站著。其中一人立刻下順籃下——剛才鑽門的防守者已經跑到外線去了，禁區沒人管。The screeners should not stand still once the doors have shut. One of them dives to the rim immediately: the defender who squeezed through is now out on the perimeter and the paint is unguarded.

換防SwitchSWITCH

射手交給兩名掩護人中一人的防守者接管，追防的人則留在裡面。One of the screeners' defenders picks up the shooter while the trailing defender stays inside.

進攻怎麼打：What beats it: 換過來的通常是內線，腳步跟不上射手。接球之後一步過掉他，比投籃更划算。The defender who switches on is usually a big who cannot slide with a shooter. Catching and taking one dribble past him is worth more than the shot.

進攻怎麼打：What beats it: 進不了門就往反方向走。射手直接反跑籃下，兩名掩護人這時候正好是兩個天然的傳球屏障。If the door is closed, go the other way: the shooter breaks backdoor, and the two screeners are conveniently standing between the ball and the help.
