换防 · SwitchSWITCH
两名无球防守者在掩护发生时交换对位。远离球的掩护换防代价最小，因为球不在那一侧，错位一时半会儿用不上。 · The two off-ball defenders trade at the screen. Switching away from the ball is the cheapest switch there is, because the ball is on the other side and the mismatch cannot be used immediately.
进攻怎么打： · What beats it: 所以要立刻用。换防之后马上把球转移到那一侧，趁大个还在外线、小个还在内线的时候直接打。 · So use it immediately. Reverse the ball to that side at once and attack while the big is still on the perimeter and the small is still inside.

接掩护那名球员的防守者贴着掩护追过去，不让他在外线接到球。 · The defender of the player using the screen fights over the top of it to deny the catch on the perimeter.
进攻怎么打： · What beats it: 追过去的人在掩护的另一侧。用掩护的人不外弹而是卷向篮下，掩护人则外弹到他刚让出来的位置，一次掩护出两个空位。 · A defender fighting over the top ends up on the wrong side of the screen. Curl to the rim instead of popping out, and let the screener replace out to the spot just vacated: one screen, two open players.

防守者不追，直接从掩护和篮筐之间穿过去，提前站在接球点上。 · The defender refuses to chase and cuts between the screen and the basket to arrive at the catch first.
进攻怎么打： · What beats it: 从下面绕过就守不住投篮。接球点往外挪一步直接投，或者干脆不接球——掩护人这时下顺篮下是空的。 · Going under concedes the shot. Step out a metre and take it, or skip the catch entirely: the screener slipping to the rim is open while that is happening.

下面这些动作和它长得像，但解决的问题不同。每一条只说那个决定性的区别。 · These look like it and solve a different problem. Each entry names the one difference that decides which is which.
两者都是给无球队友做的掩护，区别在球的位置和掩护人从哪来。下掩护是从上往下走，给底角的人解放出来接球；反向掩护是传球之后往远离球的一侧走，给的是球刚离开那一边的人。 · Both screen for a teammate without the ball; what differs is where the ball is and where the screener comes from. A pin down travels downward to free somebody coming out of the corner. A screen away travels to the side the ball just left, and frees somebody on the other side of the floor.
两者都发生在远离球的一侧，区别在掩护是谁做的。反向掩护由刚把球传出去的那个人去做；外弹掩护通常由本来就站在弱侧的人做，和球有没有换手无关。 · Both happen away from the ball, and they differ in who sets the screen. In a screen away it is the passer, who has just given the ball up and goes to screen for somebody else. A flare is usually set by a player already standing weak side and is not tied to the ball changing hands at all.
