  • 四人纵列Four-player stack

    发球人加三人纵列，按序反向散开形成两个层次的接应。Inbounder plus a three-man stack breaking in sequence for two layers of outlets.

  • 发球人反跑Inbounder step-in

    传球后发球人立即从防守背后切入篮下接回传。After the pass, the inbounder cuts backdoor off the defender's blind side for the return.

怎么防守边线球 Stack？How do you defend the SLOB Stack?

每一种守法都要放弃一点东西，问题只是放弃哪一点。下面是常见的几种，以及它们各自留下的口子。Every coverage gives something up; the only question is what. These are the common ones and the opening each of them leaves.

全部换防Switch everythingSWITCH

叠站散开时的所有交叉一律换防，防守不追人只交接。Every crossing action out of the stack is switched: nobody chases, everybody hands over.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 叠站的意义就是让防守不知道谁先走。散开时让两个人朝相反方向同时启动，换防的人必须在半步之内做完判断，做错就是空位。The stack exists so the defence cannot tell who goes first. Break two players in opposite directions at the same instant: the switch has to be decided in half a step, and a wrong guess is an open shot.

贴防边线Deny along the sideline

防守全部压向边线一侧，把接球点往角落挤，界外线就等于多了一名防守者。The defence shades everything toward the sideline and squeezes the catch into the corner, where the out-of-bounds line works as an extra defender.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 被压向边线就往反方向传。最后一名叠站球员直接长跑到弱侧接球，全场最长的那条传球线通常也是最空的。If they shade the sideline, throw the other way. The last player in the stack runs long to the weak side, and the longest pass on the floor is usually the emptiest one.

夹击接球人Trap the catch

球一接到边线就立刻夹击，利用边线把接球人困住。The moment the ball is caught near the sideline, two defenders trap it against the line.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 夹击就必然漏人。接球人转身之前先把球回传给发球人——他刚进场，身边没有人。A trap always leaves somebody. Before turning, the receiver passes back to the inbounder, who has just stepped onto the floor with nobody on him.

风险不一样，所以第一件要准备的事也不一样。边线发球在中场附近，一旦被夹在边线上，丢的往往是直接反击的球权，因此边线球战术必须先有一个安全接应；底线球是在自己要进攻的那个篮下发出的，就算被断也还在对方半场，所以它可以把五秒钟全部押在一次得分机会上。They carry different risk, so they prepare different things first. A sideline inbound is thrown near midcourt, and one trapped on the line usually turns into an immediate basket the other way, which is why a SLOB needs a safe release before it needs anything else. A BLOB is thrown from under the basket you are attacking, so even a steal leaves the ball at the far end, and it can spend all five seconds on a scoring look.
