什么是外弹掩护？What is a Flare Screen?

外弹掩护是一种无球掩护，方向和常见的相反：接掩护的人不朝球跑，而是朝远离球的一侧弹出，到三分线外的空档接球投篮。A flare screen is an off-ball screen that sends the receiver away from the ball rather than toward it, out toward the three-point line for an open catch-and-shoot.

    强侧挡拆吸引协防的同时，弱侧同步 Flare，跨场传球终结。While a strong-side screen pulls help, the weak side flares simultaneously for the skip pass.

  • Flare slip

    防守提前绕过掩护时，掩护人直接向篮下顺下形成空切。When the defense cheats over the flare, the screener slips straight to the rim.

防守怎么守How it is guarded

怎么防守外弹掩护？How do you defend the Flare Screen?

每一种守法都要放弃一点东西，问题只是放弃哪一点。下面是常见的几种，以及它们各自留下的口子。Every coverage gives something up; the only question is what. These are the common ones and the opening each of them leaves.

挤过追防Chase over the top

防守者贴着掩护往外追，试图跟着射手一路跑到接球点。The defender fights over the screen and tries to run with the shooter all the way to the catch.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 外弹掩护就是为了惩罚这一种守法而存在的。射手往远离球的方向跑，追防的人要绕过掩护再横向跑一段，几乎必然慢一步——空位三分。This is the coverage the flare exists to punish. The shooter moves away from the ball, so the chasing defender has to clear the screen and then cover ground sideways. They arrive late almost every time.

抢先占位Beat him to the spot

防守者不跟着射手跑，而是提前绕到掩护外侧站住射手要去的位置，宁可让他往篮下走也不让他接到外线球。Rather than running with the shooter, the defender goes around the outside of the screen early and stands on the spot he is heading for, conceding the rim rather than the catch.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 他顶在外面，篮下就没人。射手不外弹，直接反跑篮下；或者掩护人在掩护前就下顺，防守他的人这时正忙着帮忙。A defender out there is a rim with nobody guarding it. The shooter breaks backdoor instead of flaring, or the screener slips before contact while their own defender is busy helping.

换防Switch

两名防守者交换，做掩护的人由原来守射手的人接管。The defenders trade, so the screener is picked up by whoever was guarding the shooter.

进攻怎么打：What beats it: 换防让射手空不出来，但把掩护人留在外线，身边是一个更小的防守者。掩护完成后他不站着，直接翻身往篮下走。A switch covers the shooter but leaves the screener on the perimeter next to a smaller defender. The screener should not stand still after contact — turn and go to the rim.

外弹掩护 vs 下掩护Flare Screen vs Pin Down

两者都是给射手做的无球掩护，射手跑的方向相反：下掩护是往球的方向跑出来接球，外弹掩护是往远离球的方向跑。所以下掩护的接球是短传，外弹的接球通常是一记横穿全场的长传，也因此更难传、但更空。Both free a shooter off the ball, and the shooter runs in opposite directions. Off a pin down they come toward the ball to catch; off a flare they go away from it. The pass tells them apart: a pin down is a short feed, a flare almost always needs a skip pass across the floor — harder to throw, and much more open when it arrives.

外弹掩护 vs 背掩护Flare Screen vs Back screen

背掩护设在防守人背后，把队友放向篮筐；外弹掩护设在防守人内侧，把队友放向外线。掩护的位置几乎一样，放人的方向正好相反。A back screen is set behind the defender and releases the teammate toward the rim. A flare screen is set on the inside shoulder and releases them away from it. The screens are set in almost the same place and send the player in opposite directions.
